Prayer Department – Kaanan Bible Church

The Department of Prayer is the spiritual backbone of Kaanan Bible Church. We believe that prayer is the key to unlocking God’s power, guidance, and revival in the lives of individuals, families, the church, and the nations.

The Scripture reminds us:

  • “Pray without ceasing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:17

  • “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” – James 5:16

  • “Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” – Jeremiah 33:3

  • “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” – Mark 11:17

  • “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” – Matthew 7:7

Our Programs

The Department of Prayer organizes both corporate and personal prayer sessions, aiming to emphasize personal spiritual growth and intimacy with God:

  • Live Prayer Services:

    • Every middle Friday of the month

    • Every last Friday of the month
These sessions are held live, gathering the whole church family to seek the Lord together in unity and power.

  • Underground Daily Prayer Sessions:
Every single day, multiple prayer groups meet underground, interceding for the church, the community, and the nations of the world. These groups cultivate persistence in prayer, strengthen believers’ spiritual lives, and create a strong culture of intercession.

Through these gatherings, we follow the example of the early church:

“They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.” – Acts 1:14
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” – Acts 2:42

Our aim is to raise a generation of prayer warriors who are equipped to stand in the gap, overcome spiritual battles, and see the manifestation of God’s promises.

As Jesus taught:

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” – Matthew 26:41

The Department of Prayer continues to encourage every believer to develop a personal altar of prayer while also engaging in corporate intercession, so that together we can experience the transforming presence of God in our lives and in our world.
